"A dream board or vision board is a collage of images, pictures, and affirmations of one's dreams and desires, designed to serve as a source of inspiration and motivation."

What You Will Need to Create Your Vision Board for Goal Setting and Manifestation:

I had never created a vision board before, but given how 2020 was shaping up, I thought I should give it a shot in the coming year. What you will need to create your vision board is listed below:

  1. Cardboard/corkboard

  2. Glue

  3. Scissors

  4. Large sheet of paper

  5. All your goals printed out to be cut and glued on the large sheet of paper

Use anything you already have at home! The corkboard is not necessary, and I only used it so I could use it again the following year.

Setting Goals

Let's now talk about the goals you should include on your vision board and the intentions you should have when creating it. If you share my fascination with astrology, you're likely aware of the significance of the Great Conjunction on December 21. This celestial event marked an auspicious time for manifesting and intention-setting. I personally harnessed this energy to create my vision board on that very day.

However, if you missed that specific date, don't worry! Crafting your vision board is a wonderful way to kickstart the new year. I chose to enhance my experience by lighting a candle, placing my favourite crystals nearby, and deeply contemplating my objectives and intentions. If you are as interested in astrology as I am, you are aware that the Great Conjunction occurred on December 21. This day in particular was excellent for manifesting and setting intentions for things you want to succeed in. I made my vision board on that day, making the most of it!

No problem if you couldn't make it that day! The creation of your vision board is still an option for the new year; I just went with it. I lit a candle and chose some crystals to have out while creating my vision board when I set it up. I also remembered my goals and intentions.

Crafting Your Vision Board: Setting SMART Goals and Strategies. A vision board should encapsulate SMART objectives: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. The strategies you choose should align with the goals you're ready to achieve.

Thank you for reading into this concise guide on vision board creation! If you haven't tried making one before, now is an ideal time to embark on this transformative journey. I hope this provides the motivation you need to create your vision board. I'm excited to share my plans for the new year, including a shop update on Friday, January 8th, 2021 at 12 PM EST, featuring new original artwork and digital prints.
